Ukraine secret service named Security Service of Ukraine has denied claim by the Russia Federal Security Service, FBS of plans to kill pro Russia Journalist and propagandist, Vladimir Solovyov with the aide of terrorists group in Russia.
FBS earlier on Monday said it had arrested members of a “neo-Nazi terrorist” group in Russia who allegedly planned to assassinate pro Russia TV anchor, Vladimir Solovyov on orders from Ukraine.
“The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation detained a group of members of the neo-Nazi terrorist organization National Socialism/White Power, which is banned in Russia,” FBS said.
FBS said those arrested are Russians but the group was allegedly planning the assassination of Russian TV and radio journalist Solovyov on the instructions of the Security Service of Ukraine.
FBS claimed that the group confessed to preparing the murder of Solovyov, after which they planned to flee abroad.
According to the FSB, fake Ukrainian passports, arms, drugs and an improvised explosive device were found during a search of the detainees’ homes.
According to Kyiv Independent News media, Ukrainian intelligence service denied plans to kill Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov.
The Security Security Service of Ukraine called the allegation “fantasies” and said that Solovyov would be “tried by international courts for his Goebbels-style murderous propaganda.”
