What ASUU Is Asking For, Less Than N80b AGF Idris Stole – Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri, former Presidential spokesperson to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on New Media has appealed to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU to continue its strike following the arrest and discovery of 80 billion naira allegedly stolen by the Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Monday.
Reno Omokri stated this on Monday night via a message on his social media accounts.
According to Reno Omokri, Ahmed Idris who married a sixteen years old girl shouldn’t be a surprise to be caught stealing a huge sum of money as Accountant General of the Federation.
Reno Omokri said in quote: “If the Accountant General of the Federation can steal 80 billion naira, then you have no reason to end your strike.
“Ask Buhari to use the stolen 80 billion naira to pay you and then keep the change. After all, the money you are asking for is not even up to 80 billion naira!
“Just look at how morally bankrupt Nigeria is. The same Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, married a 16 year old girl and he was not sacked or arrested by Buhari.
“Should anyone then be surprised that a man who can marry a 16 year old can also steal 80 billion naira!”.
It would be recalled the EFCC announced the arrest of the Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris on Monday over alleged stealing of 80 billion naira through questionable consultancies and awards of contracts to families.
