
What Unknown Gunmen Did On Sunday In Anambra
Sunday May 22, 2022 was never declared as sit-at-home day. But Unknown Gunmen went on rampage.
The gang of unknown gunmen is gradually becoming a misery to the people of Anambra state with some suspecting the new gang of unknown gunmen beheading and carrying out gruesome murder are invaders who may not be people of Igbo tribe.
But, the Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi dismissed the claim. Saying, those killing and causing all manners of insecurity in Southeast states are people of Igbo tribe and nothing like outsiders.
Though, a survivor of unknown gunmen attack along Umunze-Okigwe-Aba road on Saturday, Okafor Stan said the attackers were Fulani herdsmen. But God Almighty saved his life as sporadic shooting into his vehicle didn’t hit him or made the vehicle to stop.
While Okafor Stan went to Church to give thanks to God Almighty for sparing his life in the hands of unknown gunmen he described as Fulani herdsmen, a gang of unknown gunmen went on rampage on Sunday.
The gang killed a mother and four of her children at Isulo in Orumba North Local government area.
Two other persons were killed at Abatete in Idemili North local government area while another man was killed at Nanka Orumba North local government area.
Unknown gunmen also attacked a police station in Anaku in Ayamelum Local Government Area and set vehicles ablaze.
