Kidnapping In Edo: 87 Years Old Esama Of Benin, Sir Gabriel Igbinedion With The Aid Of Walking Stick Visits Victim

Sir Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom and the Founder of some very first private businesses in Nigeria left his Palatial Garden of Eden in the hybrow Government Reservation Area of Edo State to pay a visit to one of the recent victims of kidnapping in the state, Pa Dickson Imasogie.

Pa Dickson Imasogie, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was kidnapped at his farm in Uvbie village along Benin-Agbor road last week Monday and released by his abductors on Friday.

The Benin born business man and the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Sir Gabriel Igbinedion was seen with the aid of walking stick and body support of a young man; he trekked a little distance from his parked vehicle to the house of Pa Imasogie at Oza street in Benin City.

There are concerns that the Esama may not be comfortable with the rate of kidnapping in Edo State, most especially when his University, Igbinedion University, Okada came under media awareness few weeks ago when Olajide Sowore, the younger brother to the Founder and Publisher of Saharareporters, Omoyele Sowore was killed by suspected kidnappers at Isiuwa area of Ovia North East Local Government of Edo State while returning from school, Igbenidion University, Okada to Benin City.
