Man Narrates How Police Men On Abuja-Okene Road Drag Passenger To POS Point To Steal N25,000

A man whose voice could be heard in the backgroud of a viral video has narrated how some men of the Nigeria Police Force patrolling the Abuja-Okene road in Kogi state dragged a man out of Big Joe motor, forced him to POS point and forcefully collected the sum of 25 thousand naira.

The narrator did not state the day or when the incident occurred but the video shows other vehicles belonging to Big Joe Motors parked to ensure the situation is put under control.

The narrator said the police acted as if they were kidnappers as the victim was asked to put a call to his family, the family transfered the money into his account, one of the police men quickly undress the police uniform and took the boy to a POS point in Okene town to withdraw the 25 thousand naira.

The narrator said other Big Joe vehicles plying the route stopped over to join in the protest aginst the police.

The video shows one of the policemen assaulted a young man, said to be a passenger inside the Big Joe motor when other passengers in the vehicle came out to demand explanation for the police action.

The policeman in the video said the young man should not have asked him “why was he cracking his gun” hence he slapped him and dragged him until other passengers prevailed on the security operative.
