Kebbi State Governor Atiku Bagudu Holds Commissioners Responsible For Delay Payment Of Workers’ Salary

Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has ordered the immediate payment of salary to Primary school teachers in the state.

Governor Bagudu made the order on Saturday when he visited Jega Unity Primary School and received complaints from primary school Teachers that they have not been paid October salary.

According to News release from the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari, the Kebbi State Governor issued query to the Commissioner for Basic Education, Alhaji Muhammadu Magawata Aliero and the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Hassan Muhammad Shallah over the delay salary payment.

The Governor warned that he would not condone laxity or delay in the payment of salary to primary school teachers in the state, emphatically saying, that he would not take it lightly with any Government official for negative attitude to work.

Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu ordered the immediate payment of salary to all teachers throughout the state without further delay.

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu entered some of the classrooms where weekend lessons were ongoing and expressed satisfaction about the performance of both Teachers and Students in the school.
