Lesser Value Naira Becomes, The More Money President Buhari Borrows, Don’t Save In Naira In 2022 – Reno Omokri

Following the estimated media claims that President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria will borrow more money in the year 2022 and before 2023 when the President will leave office, the nation debt would have increased from the current 30 trillion naira to 50 trillion naira, the former Presidential spokesperson to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri has appealed to Nigerians not to save money in naira currency in 2022 because according to him, the naira will continue to devalue and worthless as the President continued the borrowing spree.

Reno Omokri made the call few hours ago as part of his year message to the people.

“If you had 1 million naira in your savings account on January 1, 2021, it was worth 2250 dollar.

“Even if you got the highest interest rate a Nigerian bank could give you, your money would be worth 1.1 million naira today, which is equivalent to less than 2 thousand dollar.

“As long as Buhari is President, you should stop saving in Naira. You are losing money. Because the more money he borrows, the more devalued and diluted the Naira becomes”, Reno Omokri said.

Reno Omokri therefore urged Nigerians to do savings in dollar come 2022, invest in gold and international stocks

“In 2022, do four things with your money:

“I would have added a fourth (invest in cryptocurrency), but crypto is illegal in Nigeria.
