LAPO MFB

Started as Clients Support Officer in 2013 with the establishment of new branch at Isuochi, Abia State.

I managed the bank loan portfolio asset from February, 2014 to May 2016 with no day of default in loan repayment.

Upon this achievement, I was reassigned above regular branch manager rank to Assistant Mega Branch Manager.

I was assigned to a dying branch, Ogbete in Enugu state. Between 2016 and 2020, the branch was restructured and revamped.

I was later reassigned to the rank of Mega Branch Manager.

Worst branch becomes the best.

The branch was upgraded to super branch in 2019.

The Bank management in recognition of my efforts, awarded me the overall best mega branch manager in Enugu State in 2018.

The management in 2020 redeployed me to another dying branch in Ihiala, Anambra State.

In less than nine months in the branch, I grew the stagnant loan portfolio asset of the branch by 55 percent and continued to maintain steady and continuous monthly reduction of the branch alarming high rate of balance of defaulters, BOD.

From two digit PAR (Portfolio At Risk) of 13.9% as at March, 2020 I resumed Ihiala Branch to one digit par of 8.2% as at end of December, 2020.

This achievement is recorded despite many branch and banks having increased balance of defaulters and growing high PAR rate due to the corona virus pandemic and Endsars protest amongst other reasons

Started in 2013 as Special Assistant On Media to the Executive Director, Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice.

Build Mutual Understanding With Journalists And Effectively Promote Activities And Programmes Of ANEEJ And Other NGOs In And Out Of The Country.

Happy 55 birthday to a great man who always do good to people like me for example without announcing.

I’m very happy and proud to have the Divine honour and privilege to share the same birthday date with You.

For many years you have been very supportive to my career in life. Right from my schooling days at @Federal Polytechnic, Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria to my working and learning years at the The Nigerian Observer newspaper, you have been great to me financially and morally.

It was an honour and privilege to work with you as a special media assistant at ANEEJ (African Network for Environment and Economic Justice , all to enable me pay more attention and focus to develop more media skills with the Bendel Newspaper Company Limited, the publisher of Observer titles. I was working for Edo State Government of Nigeria but you were the one paying me salaries.

I know I offended you by leaving ANEEJ to join LAPO Microfinance Bank without giving you proper notice. Despite my shorting comings, you called me and paid me all my full entitlements including the ones I was not entitled to. You amazed me. I feel ashamed handing over my resignation letter to you that day. You even asked me if I was under threat or anything of such, which I answered no. Because you know I have more to do in the media. But I have to specially give thanks to Godwin Ehigiamusoe for giving me the opportunity to strengthen my media capability and efficiency by thus having the opportunity to practically mastered the marketing, advertising and management aspects of effective media diplomatic practice in special areas like Ezzamgbo in Ebonyi state, Isuochi in Abia State, Obiagu in Enugu State, Ihiala, Nnewi in Anambra State among special people during crisis era.

Even when the enemies of the bank gang up against me and planned to end my life for their demonic reason or reasons, sir, you came to my rescue. You calmed me down and helped control my anger and the escalation of the crisis. I have no problem with the bank, I only have problem with the enemies in the bank who took advantage of their privileged positions to misbehave. The crime they committed against me, unknown to them, they are more a victim.

Sir, like I told you in 2013 while handing over my resignation letter to you, that once a pen soldier remain a pen soldier for life. May God Almighty continue to give me the good memory to always remember the good things and uncommon act of humanity you have done for me!

Worked as Presenter/Producer of Teenzone, Aesthetic Design Of Studio For Eye Catching/Appealing To Watch Screen, Film Editor, Studio Production/Camera Director, Special Programmes Presenter.

BNCL

Started in 2007 with Bendel Newspaper Company Limited, BNCL, the publisher of the Observer Titles as General reporter, Investigative Reporting, Editing/Proofreading, Assistant Production Editor, Education/Entertainment Columnist

Handling the entertainment column was informed in one of my regular visits to the Palace of the then Benin Monarch, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Erediauwa of blessed memory who told visiting artistes to relate with media in order to get their complain of non patronage and lack of government attention answered.

This, I joined the ShowBiz page of the Sunday Edition of the Observer Newspaper where I had the opportunity to interview and document activities of several local, national and international popular artistes and government officials. And the page became sought after by readers.

Thereafter, a review of my deliberate planned action saw many artistes getting government attention and the attention of other well meaning individuals in the country.

Adams Oshomhole’s government paid adequate attention to several upcoming and popular artistes and some of them becoming very wealthy.

After a live interview with Sir Victor Uwaifo with special focus on his artistic tourist art work at his Aeroplane House, the then commissioner of information, Abdul Oroh mandated the state owned TV station, Edo Broadcasting Service to pay adequate attention to the living legend and others and thus that saw EBS setting aside certain hours of their broadcasting time weekly to rebroadcasts the activities of the living legend and others.

A visit to the state House of Assembly under the leadership of the Late Zakawanu Garuba shows the government of Adams Oshiomhole spend a lot to help bring up the financial and acceptable popularity status of many artistes in and outside the state.

Artistes became mainly used for political and other campaign activities in and outside the state by governments and other well meaning individuals.
