Dog Receives War Medal In Ukraine

While many are engaged with a case of female grown up Nigerian sleeping with a dog for money, Ukrainian Government under the leadership of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has bestowed a war medal on a dog and its owner for helping to save the lives of Ukrainians since the Russia war on its soil began on February 24, 2022.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the award to the dog named Patron on Sunday at a ceremony witnessed by Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau in Kyiv.

According to Ukrainian Government, the dog detected over 200 landmines that could have caused a mass destruction of lives and properties in the country.

The bomb sniffing or explosives detecting dog is a pint-sized Jack Russel terrier.
