During my press briefing today, at the Government House, Owerri, I made the point that every Imolite needs to join hands with Government in our efforts to eradicate criminality and banditry from our society.

The recent operation at Eke Ututu Market in Orsu Local Government Area by the Security agencies, effectively neutralised illegal bomb manufacturers.

It was an operation carried out in the best interest of the residents and law-abiding citizens of the Local Government Area.

I commend the Security Operatives for their tactical professionalism at ensuring that no life was lost during the operation.

As a Government, we will reconstruct the market and compensate those impacted by the operation.
