FFK: APC Abandons Its Labourers Yet Going Round Bringing In Charlatans, Prostitutes, Stupid People

Chairman, Lagos State Government Wharf Landing Fee Collection Authority and member of All Progressive Congress, APC, Joe Igboekwe has continued to react to the decamping from PDP to APC, the then Director of Media and Publicity to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan presidential election campaign in 2015, Femi Fani-Kayode, describing the action of the APC management as an act of bringing in enemies, stupid people, charlatans and prostitutes to the detriment of the party.

Joe Igboekwe in a statement few hours ago, emphasized that those who worked for the success of the political party have been abandoned but the management of the party and President Muhammadu Buhari have continued to receive with red carpet as a sign of honour those Joe Igboekwe described as dolts in the party.

Oxford dictionary defines the word dolt as a stupid person with the words: fool, idiot, clown being similar in meaning.

President Muhammadu Buhari had yesterday received at state house, Former Minister of Aviation and Media director to his rival, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in the 2015 presidential election, Femi Fani-Kayode into APC.

Joe Igboekwe earlier yesterday condemned the honour and reception given to Femi Fani-Kayode by President Muhammadu Buhari, saying that with all the efforts he has made for the success of the party, he has not even one day receive a call from the president nor being invited to Aso Rock for honour but charlatans, enemies, dolts and prostitutes are given red carpet reception by the party and the president.

“DESPITE ALL MY PUSH FOR APC, ABUJA HAS NOT GIVEN ME A PHONE CALL TALK-LESS OF INVITING ME for A COFFEE WITH C IN C BUT HERE IS A POLITICAL CHARLATAN AND PROSTITUTE BEING GIVEN A RED CARPET IN the SEAT OF POWER, ABUJA”, Joe Igboekwe queried yesterday.

Joe Igboekwe reaction to Femi Fani-Kayode decamping from PDP to APC continued today with more details of how the party management, APC abandoned its committed members, adding, the party members are still suffering till date.

When I was the APC Publicity Secretary, Lagos, I doubled as Chairman of Conference of APC Publicity Secretaries, CAPS across Nigeria.
I was in that position for almost 6 years.

APC National organized a two-day APC EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION and SOCIAL MEDIA WORKSHOP, 12th -13th May 2017 in Abuja.

Chief Odigie Oyegun was the National Chairman of our great Party then and Bolaji Abdullahi was the National Publicity Secretary of the party.

In that Workshop, we pleaded and asked that the Party should find a way to assist the Publicity Secretaries whose states are not APC states to do their jobs.

They were just answering Publicity Secretaries on paper but in actions and deeds they do not have anything to work with.

They had nothing. They put too much pressure on me but I could not do much.

They suffered and they are still suffering till date.

Since I left that office I do not know whether CAPS is still in existence. They have not held any meeting. Nobody remembers them.

I brought them to Lagos on the two occasions and Lagos State Government hosted CAPS and treated (them) nicely.

Now what is the import of this? What am I trying to do? What am I trying to make?

APC NATIONAL should stand up and take responsibility.

Let me not talk about countless APC foot soldiers across Nigeria.

They shout for APC on empty stomachs.

They are called names on a daily basis and accepted all the insults with equanimity and and soundness of mind.

They love Nigeria. They love APC. They love PMB. They love the humongous work APC is doing across. They see it . They feel it. They are unrepentant Buharists.

They work without anybody giving them a pat on the back. They work day and night and even do the work of publicity Secretary with their own data and yet nobody cares for them and even the system they are slaving for have not recognized them.

I have tried my best in Lagos to bring them together on few occasions, pleading for patience and understanding but there is no respite.

Yet APC will be going round bringing charlatans, enemies, and dolts into the party at the drop (of) a hat.

APC should look inwards and do the needful. A labourer deserves his pay. Reward hard work and the people will do more.
