Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appealed to all Russians to oppose the war declared on Ukraine by President Vladimir Putin, stressing that the war will end in shame, poverty and international isolation for many years for them.

Zelenskyy made this known few hours ago in his daily briefing and broadcast to the people of Ukraine as translated by Ukraine based Obozrevatel news media.

According to Zelenskyy, all Russians who have access to the truth regarding the war should have already understood that for Russia, the war would end in shame, poverty and many years of isolation from the international community.

“I want to say directly to all officials of the Russian Federation, to everyone who is related to the current government: if you remain in office, if you do not oppose the war, the international community will deprive you of everything. Everything that you have earned over the years. They are already doing this”, Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy thereafter assured Ukrainians that they would be defended no matter the current difficult situation.

“There will be a difficult situation. We are fighting for you. Sorry, everything is very difficult.

“The Ukrainian convoy with humanitarian cargo is still blocked by Russian soldiers on the road to the city, but we will not give up trying to save people.

“And I am grateful to each of our defenders! To each defender of Mariupol, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Nikolaev and all other cities that this evil wants to capture,” Zelenskyy said.
