Nigerian born gospel music icon and youths’ delight, Mercy Chinwo and Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa of WaterBrook Church have began the process to become husband and wife.

It would be recalled that Mercy Chinwo had announced her engagement with the Pastor, she always refer to as; not just a friend but a brother earlier on June 23, 2022.

Blessed Uzochikwa took his friends and family to Port Harcourt during the weekend to perfect the cultural introduction and official notification of interest to marry Mercy Chinwo before her family.

The introduction was full of glamour and eye catching photos with joy unlimited smiles from Mercy Chinwo, Blessed Uzochikwa, fans and family members that witnessed the ceremony.

Mercy Nnenda Chinwo was born on 5th September 1990. She is reportedly the first child and the first daughter out of the six children from her parents.

Mercy Chinwo, though, from Rivers State, her mother is said to be from Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state.

Mercy Chinwo got into the limelight in 2012 after winning Season 2 of a famous acting talent show – Nigerian Idol.

After then, she has become one of the most popular and crowd pulling gospel music stars in Nigeria and beyond.
