A plane has crashed landed into bush near Ibadan Airport, Oyo State on Friday night.

The plane is said to be conveying Nigeria Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu and other government officials.

The Presidency under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is yet to issue statement.

It was gathered that the private plane crashed landed successfully with no casualty recorded.

But it could not be ascertained if the minister or those on board sustained any injury in the incident, which happened after the Nigerian Metrological Agency (NiMET) issued travel warning based on hazy weather.

PUNCH newspaper had on Friday night repeated that a plane skidded off runway at Ibadan airport. According to the newspaper, the General Manager of the State Fire Service, Yemi Akinyinka, confirmed the incident on phone.

Akinyinka reportedly said: “Yes, it is true. Our men are on their way but I don’t have details now. You will be updated.”
