Stolen Benin Artefacts: Benin Monarch, Oba Ewuare II Is My Oba__Senator Shehu Sani

The Governor of Edo State wanted to establish a Museum to preserve the historic artefacts and relics of the Benin Empire returned from Europe, the respectable Oba publicly disagreed on the grounds that the Kingdom has an alternative plan;

The Governor bowed and caution the public against disrespecting the His Royal Highness the Oba.

The Oba too complimented the Governor with respect.

This level of maturity, responsibility and mutual respect is impossible in most states in Nigeria.

I love this Oba for his principles, courage and conviction and I appreciate this Governor for his uncommon respect and reverence for the Oba.

That Oba is my Oba.
