Gunmen Attack Thriller Travels Boss Residence Same Day Kidnapping Fouani MD, Foreign Nationals In Lagos
Group of gunmen on Friday in a separate attack invaded the residence of Dr Moses Olusoji Adebisi, the Chief Executive Officer of Thriller Travels aka ThisDayMoses also on the same day attacked a speed boat and kidnapped Mohamed Fouani, the Managing Director of Fouani Company, the said representative of for LG and Hisense products and three other Lebanese nationals in Lagos State, Nigeria.
It was gathered that the gunmen attacked the Thriller Travels boss residence in the morning, destroying properties including parts of the CCTV cameras in the building, another attack of gunmen occurred in the evening in which the Fouani MD and the three Lebanese who were traveling on a speed boat were kidnapped.
According to SaharaReporters, the unknown gunmen attacked the residence of Dr Moses Olusoji Adebisi, located in Lekki County, the Ajah area of Lagos, on Friday morning.
“The attack reportedly resulted in significant damage to property including CCTV cameras, security wiring, vehicles, doors and other items.
Following the attack on the home of Adebisi, the Ikota Police Station in Lagos has reportedly launched an investigation.
Adebisi told The Industry Newspaper that the attack on his Lekki County residence occurred while everyone, including the gatekeeper, was away. Adebisi stated that the gatekeeper had reportedly gone to a nearby prayer ground for devotion when the assailants carried out their destructive operation.
An eyewitness who spoke on condition of anonymity said, “The attackers dressed in military uniforms, came with three different cars, and distributed themselves around the house and when they could not get the occupants of the house, they started destroying properties such as cars, CCTV cameras. doors and then left.”
In response to the destructive attack on his Lekki County residence, Adebisi has implored the authorities to swiftly conduct a comprehensive investigation.
He has also asked that the perpetrators of the attack be apprehended and brought to justice, holding them accountable for their heinous acts.
“I am only rooted in the services to humanity, it’s not a sin to stand up for what is right in Nigeria. Therefore, I am calling on authorities to thoroughly investigate this matter and reassure the common man of safety within and outside Lagos,” he said”, SaharaReporters News report ends in quote.
Channels Television had on Saturday reported that gunmen have abducted three people travelling on a boat in Lagos.
According to the nigeria private Television station, “the trio was reportedly whisked away while travelling by boat around Falomo Bridge from Apapa in Lagos.
While names of the abducted victims have not been ascertained, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, said that the marine unit of the command got a report of three persons being kidnapped on water.
“We also got the report and we have started looking into it. Our marine department got that report.
“It was reported to them that three people were kidnapped. Their boat was found somewhere in Ikorodu and we have started looking into that,” Hundeyin said when contacted by Channels Television.
According to him, the police got the report just like every other person but have already swung into action to ascertain what happened, where it happened, and how.
He added that haven after gathering enough intelligence, the command will pull out its strength to rescue the victims unhurt and bring the perpetrators to justice”.
Punch Newspaper in its report indicated that gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have kidnapped the Managing Director of Fouani Company, the representative for LG and Hisense, along with three Lebanese nationals while they were traveling by boat in Lagos.
The unfortunate incident it was gathered, occured on Friday evening.
The victims were reportedly abducted near Falomo Bridge during their journey from Apapa to Victoria Island.
A source who doesn’t want to be quoted revealed that the gunmen have demanded a ransom for their release, according to Punch newspaper.
“The Managing Director of Fouani Company and three Lebanese were kidnapped around Falomo Bridge on Friday evening while traveling by boat from Apapa to Victoria Island. The kidnappers have asked for $1.5 million,” the source disclosed as reported by the Newspaper.
