EXPOSED: DSS Officials Arrested For Kidnapping

Four men of State Security Service also known as the Department of State Services, DSS and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC have been arrested by the Police in Osun state for kidnapping.

AIT in its news report few minutes ago quoted the Osun State commissioner of Police, Wale Olokode that Ajibola Ogunibi allegedly connived with some DSS and NSCDC operatives to kidnap a Bureau the change operator and demanded ransom.

It was gathered that they were said to have whisked away the Bureau de Change operator to a bush along Ilesa road where they demanded ransom.

According to the police, all the suspects have confessed to the crime and will be charged to court after conclusion of investigations.

President Muhammadu Buhari has budgeted more money for security operations in Nigeria; 300 percent more than his predecessors.

Lack of managerial skills in the person of President Muhammadu Buhari makes the activities of the security Operatives in the country looked as if not controllable.

Boko Haram, Bandits, unknown gunmen and other terrorists group currently terrorizing the country are believed by many to be working successfully in cordial relationship with some of the Security Operatives entrusted with the safety of lives and properties in the country.

Some Southeast residents believed DSS are the factional unknown gunmen who carried out some kidnappings and killings in the zone in order to discredit and reduce the public sympathy and support, the secessionist group, Indigenous People of Biafra enjoys in the geopolitical zone.

Some kidnapped victims in the South South and South West have narrated how they paid ransom to bandits or Fulani herdsmen at a location very close and shielded by police station and military check point.

Residents in the Northeast, Northwest to North Central have made statements suggesting men of the Nigeria Armed Forces do steal and sell fire arms, train and provide logistical information to Boko Haram and other terrorists group like bandits in the Northern states.
