Head of the Talakawa’s Parliament, Kola Edokpayi has begged Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki to allow him use the abandoned state water fountain at the Oba Ovonramwen square or Ring road for fish farming.

Kola Edokpayi stated this on Thursday through his social media account.

According to Kola Edokpayi, despite that Governor Godwin Obaseki abandoned the multi million naira fun seekers’ delight water fountain built by his immediate predecessor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, people still gathered around the dilapidated water fountain to have fun and snapped photographs during the just concluded Muslim holiday.

He described the current situation to once aesthetic valuable water fountain now as a frog fountain.

Kola Edokpayi therefore asked Governor Godwin Obaseki to grant him access to the abandoned water fountain so that he could use it as fish pond and generate revenue for the state.

“Despite the epileptic and syphilitic state of the Water Fountain at Museum Ground built by Former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole that was abandoned by the Technocratic Godwin Obaseki, Fun Seekers besieged the Water Fountain turned Frog Fountain to have fun during the Muslim Holiday and snapped photographs.

“Since the Governor of Edo State is not ready to resuscitate the Frog Fountain, I want to appeal to the Governor to give me to use it for Fish Pond

“We can provide employments and generate money there when it is used for Fish Pond.

“We need to use the Frog Fountain judiciously to provide employments and generate revenue”, Kola Edokpayi said.
