Angry Nigerians Go Hard On Reno Omokri Over Comment On Peter Obi

There is no doubt that many Nigerians are ready to go the extra mile to do anything to ensure that they got it right in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

Among the presidential candidates, Peter Obi seems to be gaining huge and overall support of most Nigerians across all works of life.

The Obi supporters often referred to as Obidients, are leaving no stone unturned, even to fight anyone who tries to act as a clock in the wheel of Peter Obi’s presidency.

Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka of Adoration Ministry made statement against Peter Obi, by thus, describing him as a stingy man, not wanted by Nigerians.

The statement angered most Nigerians who descended heavily on the well known Catholic Priest until his church, Adoration Ministry was closed down by the Catholic authority in Enugu state and denied access to any form of congregation.

Recent to be on the list that provoked Nigerians, supporting Peter Obi’s movement, is Reno Omokri, a motivational speaker and former Presidential aide on New Media to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who have shown support and promoted Atiku Abubakar, former Nigeria Vice President and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate to become the country’s President after Muhammadu Buhari.

Reno Omokri is currently battling to clarify himself over his comment considered against the person of Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in the forthcoming general election.

The Obidients have employed all manners of strategies to ensure that Reno Omokri twitter account and other social media pages are suspended for allegedly inciting religious war as claimed by most of the Nigerians who are showing support for Peter Obi presidency.

Reno Omokri in his recent posts, said his life is in danger, that, Peter Obi supporters also known as Obidients are threatening him.

He said if anything should happened to him, Peter Obi should be held responsible.

According to his post on his Instagram page on Friday, Omokri claimed he had been a victim of harassment because he faulted the assertion of Obi, that he was a “Pilot” and other contenders for Nigeria’s top job were mere ‘drivers.’

“What exactly did I say? I said Peter Obi was wrong to describe himself as a pilot and other Presidential candidates as “mere drivers” and “substitute players”. That is why they are threatening my life. If I was in Nigeria, they would have sent unknown gunmen after me.

“I reported their threat to my life to Peter Obi directly. He did nothing.

“The threats are becoming too much. My life is at risk. If anything happens to me, my wife, my children, or my siblings, the world should hold Peter Obi responsible. He has raised a horde of intolerant and violent Obidients who just want to replace Buhari’s tyranny with theirs!”

That not all, Nigerians went ahead to raise a petition with thousands signing the petition within minutes, calling for the rescinding of the award bestowed on Reno Omokri as the “2022 Business Influencer Of The Year”
