Former Presidential spokesperson to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri has described the Federal Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed as a man without shame; over comments the minister made at a press conference in reaction to an online magazine publication, The Economist that indicated that bandits, other terrorist groups have carved out caliphates for themselves in the Northern part of Nigeria, wherein, they now impose and collect taxes from communities.

Lai Mohmmed while speaking during the press conference held on Thursday in Abuja had compared the activities of bandits, Boko Haram terrorists imposing and collecting taxes from communities in the Northern Nigeria to that of area boys or touts collecting revenue in other states of the country the minister said he does not want to name.

Reno Omokri in his reaction yesterday said he now knows why the Kwara State Governor, the Minister own Governor called him a useless commodity.

Reno Omokri condemned the behaviour of the Information Minister to compare bandits, terrorists with that of area boys.

“By comparing terrorists, bandits to area boys and touts, Lai Mohammed is automatically insulting his real boss, Bola Tinubu.

“How can you say terrorists, bandits are the same as area boys and touts?

“How many people have area boys killed? How much are they paying you that you will stoop so low to defend terrorists who kill even your own people in Kwara? No wonder your own state Governor called you a useless commodity.

“Sadly, Lai Mohammed has no shame in his old age. No wonder his own grandson calls him ‘lie’ by his own admission.

“We all know what Tinubu was before he attended Chicago University (wink, wink). May all my readers never end up like Lai in their old age. In Christ’s Name, I pray!”, Reno Omokri said.
