Former Enugu State Governor and current Senator, representing Enugu-East Senatorial District, Chimaroke Nnamani has been seen cutting grasses on road side as his name trends on social media platforms over the suspected inclusion of his name as members of the All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Campaign Council, PCC.
The list as released on Friday by APC Presidential Campaign Council Secretary, James Faleke, Chimaroke Nnamani with abbreviation; H.E, meaning His Excellency, a title often used to introduce former and current governors, presidents among other top political office holders in Nigeria was seen on number 350 as member of the council.
The former Enugu State Governor, Chimaroke Nnamani is currently a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, representing Enugu-East Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
Senator Chimaroke Nnamani had formerly and publicly praised the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a man with good performance history as a governor of Lagos State.
Senator Chimaroke Nnamani said Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the best during his time as Lagos State Governor.
Adding, he would still vote for his party, PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
Senator Chimaroke Nnamani on Sunday, August 7, 2022, said that Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s supporters, who are known as Obidients, were less than 0.25 percent of the entire 200 million Nigerians.
Chimaroke Nnamani, who is seeking a return to the National Assembly, had earlier vowed that Labour Party would not be allowed to win any political office in Enugu State, saying “bye-bye for Obidients”.
Since the news of one Chimaroke Nnamani appeared on the list of APC presidential campaign council broke out on Friday, Nigerians took to social media platforms to express their concerns.
