Edo DG Visits Family Of Police Officer Killed During Operation To Free Kidnapped Court Judge
By Philip Shaibu
On Friday, I paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Deputy Superintendent of Police, Michael Adam, who lost his life while on a rescue mission to free kidnapped Edo Customary Court Judge, Precious Aigbonoga.
Unfortunately, we’ve lost a gallant officer during a successful rescue mission of a Customary Court judge.
Such a gallant officer deserves a posthumous medal; he left behind, a beautiful family.
This is not a loss to the family members alone, but also all of us. This is why I went with the service chiefs to commiserate with the bereaved family.
However, our security operatives have been on top of the case for some days now with recorded progress where two more victims, including the Customary Court Judge, have been rescued.
We are optimistic that the operatives are going to rescue the remaining victims alive by the grace of God.
I appreciated the security chiefs, the Commissioner of Police, the Chief of Army Staff and Defence Staff, vigilantes and the hunters who have been doing a great job, combing the forest.
