Umweni Osa’s Aliyu, a Nigerian youth has called on Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State to focus attention on the killings in Obayanto community in the state where over 20 innocent defenseless villagers have been killed allegedly by men of the Nigerian Army following supremacy battle between the youths in the community over sales of land.
Umweni Osa’s Aliyu made the concern known few hours ago in the Facebook account comment section of Igunbor Sarah, one of the aides to Governor Godwin Obaseki on Media and Publicity.
According to Umweni Osa’s Aliyu, the issue with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State is a mere political noise that will not benefit the people of Edo state.
Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State had allegedly responded to the statement credited to Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state that the state does not accept political bullies and overlords following the Rivers State governor earlier attempt to belittle and underrate the person and office of the Edo State Governor, Philip Shaibu who had publicly expressed displeasure over what he considered inappropriate activities in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Governor Wike in the media reports said he’s a merchant of crisis in the PDP because him and Rivers State government have invested so much in the party and he has the right to do so.
