
Imo Election Results Written Last Year, Simon Ekpa Claims As INEC Declares Hope Uzodimma Winner In All 27 LGA
Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has declared the incumbent Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma winner in all the 27 local government areas in the guber poll held in the state on Saturday.
Prime Minister of Biafra Government in Exile, Simon Ekpa while reacting to the election claimed the result sheets were written last year and submitted for consideration in June 2023.
The state Returning Officer for the election, Professor Abayomi Fasina, who is also the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, announced the results on Sunday morning at INEC’s state collation centre in Owerri, the state capital.
The returning officer declared Uzodimma of the All Progressives Congress as the winner of the election with 540,308 votes. Samuel Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party came a distant second with 71,503 votes. Athan Achonu of the Labour Party scored 64,081 votes to come third in the election.
Anthony Ejiogu of the All Progressives Grand Alliance recorded 6,392 votes to come fourth, and Jack Ogunewe of the Action Alliance came fifth with 5,756 votes.
Simon Ekpa said: “Biafrans has spoken yesterday, this result was written last year, submitted sometime in June this year.
We know all this and it doesn’t matter what you do, there is no democracy in Nigeria and that’s the reason we stopped the election in old Imo and Biafra completely ‘delegitimised’ Nigeria within old Imo state.
“You didn’t vote Hope Uzodinma 4 years ago yet court made him governor. All you need to do is support Biafra Liberation, stop wasting your time and endangering your life and life of others by validating Nigeria.
“Biafrans in old Imo State are very proud and we will collectively fight Hope, capture and eradicate him from Biafraland”.
