
Man Burnt Alive In Lagos Over N100
A father of two kids simply identified as David has been beaten and burnt to death by suspected group of Okada riders in Lagos State over argument relating to one hundred naira.
David said to be a sound engineer playing at a popular beer parlour along Admiralty area of Lekki Phase 1, in Lagos State was beaten to a pulp alongside two of his friends simply identified as Frank and Philip on Thursday night by group of Okada riders.
It was gathered that Frank and Philip who boarded the commercial motorcycle had the argument with the Okada rider said to be an aboki man and things turned out differently, a fight ensued and the aboki man was hit and fell down as if lifeless.
Other Okada riders according to eyewitnesses soon gathered and accused Frank and Philip of using magical power also known as juju to hit the Okada rider and thus started beating the two.
David was said to be inside the party waiting for the arrival of his friends when he heard about the confusion and quickly ran out to their rescue but the Okada riders pounced on him, beat him to a pulp until he became lifeless.
The mob thereafter set him ablaze with a substance seemingly looking like a petrol and vehicle tires as seen in a video record of the scene when the crime was ongoing.
Frank, a saxophonist and Philip, Keyboardist managed to escape while the mob focus attention on David.
The two survivors are currently responding to treatment at an undisclosed hospital in the state while police had began manhunt for the suspected killers.
