Executive Director of Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice, Reverend David Ugolor among other representatives from different Civil Society Organizations in other countries are currently in Egypt brainstorming on the management of recovered Looted assets in Nigeria and other countries.

ANEEJ in which its Executive Director, Reverend David Ugolor arrived Sharma El Sheikh in Egypt on Thursday had been contracted by Switzerland government to monitor the utilization of the 322.5 million dollar recovered Sani Abacha’s loot.

ANEEJ with other board members of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption Coalition, UNCAC Coalition at the ongoing 9th Conference of State Party, CoSP9 discussed ways and strategies for monitoring and management of recovered Looted assets and the vision for anti corruption crusade in 2022.

Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice, The Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre, CISLAC, and Civil Forum For Asset Recovery, CIFAR in conjunction with Nigeria UNCAC Coalition will on Friday hold a question and answer session with the general public with the theme; Management of Recovered Assets In Africa: Challenges and Opportunities”.
