Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, lead counsel to the detained Leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has drawn public attention to the failed assassination attempt on his life.

Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor in a message few minutes ago said him and his friend were caught under intense gun fire that could have taken their lives if not God who spared them.

Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor who is yet to state the date and place where the attempted assassination took place, said he pleaded with friends and family members to keep the attack secret in order not to jeopardize the ongoing investigation.
