
Obaseki Hands Over State College Of Education, Ekiadolor To FG
Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has formally and officially hands over the renowned state owned College of Education, Ekiadolor to Federal Government.
The school automatic becomes the asset of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Governor Godwin Obaseki handed over the school in a ceremony held on Thursday within the school compound.
According to Godwin Obaseki, he wants the Federal Government to also rename the school after the Executive Secretary of the defunct Petroleum Trust Fund, PTF and one time Commissioner for Education in the old Bendel State, Chief Tayo Akpata.
“I have handed over the defunct Edo College of Education, Ekiadolor to the Federal Government, imploring the government to rename the citadel of learning after the executive secretary of the defunct Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) and one-time Commissioner for Education in old Bendel State, Chief Tayo Akpata”, Obaseki said.
