
Pregnancy/Sick Rumour: Nigeria First Lady, Aisha Buhari Gets Personal Physician
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved for his wife, the First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari a personal physician after she was rumoured last December to be pregnant or down with ailment suspected to be cancer.
The rumour and speculations in the media spread last year December following a new look of the First Lady when she returned from Turkey-Africa summit with her husband, President Muhammadu with a likely increase in her belly.
Some persons speculated that the First Lady is pregnant while others suggested that the increase in her belly could be a cancer related ailment.
Garba Shehu, one of the Presidential spokespersons to President Muhammadu Buhari in a press release yesterday said “President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. Zabah Muhammad Jawa as Personal Physician to the First Lady.
“Dr. Jawa is a Senior Consultant in Nuclear medicine and European Certified in Nuclear Medicine.
“He is a Fellow of the College of Radiologists of Nigeria and Fellow of the South African College of Nuclear Physicians”.
The President also approved the appointment of one more personal aides to the First Lady, Mrs. A’isha Muhammadu Buhari.
“A’isha Rimi, a law graduate of the University of Buckingham in England is appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Legal Matters, Office of the First Lady.

“A’isha is a resourceful administrative executive and a founding partner at Africa Law Practice, a commercial law firm in Nigeria”, the statement reads.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have condemned the action of President Muhammadu Buhari appointing aides into the office of First Lady which he said he dissolved soon after he took over power in 2015.
One of the Nigerians irked by the presidential statement which acknowledges the office of the first lady, Abu Zainab said thus: “Which first lady please? You already told us there’s none. We only have wife of the President”.
