
Rochas Okorocha Appears In Court Over N2.9b Fraud Case
Former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has been arraigned before Federal High Court sitting in Abuja by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over alleged 2.9 billion naira fraud allegedly committed while in office as Imo state Governor.
EFCC recently invade Rochas Okorocha mansion in Abuja, broke through the roof and ceiling into the room the former governor was hiding and took him away like a high profile terrorist.
EFCC in a press release said they took the action of invading Rochas Okorocha house because he jumped bail and refused to show up in court against the conditions or rules with the earlier court bail order granted him by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
Rochas Okorocha who is currently the Senator representing Imo West senatorial district in the National Assembly is also one of the Presidential aspirants contesting to become Nigeria President after President Muhammadu Buhari come 2023 general election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
