Former Presidential spokesperson to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri has described Africa multi talented music pacesetter, Sir Victor Efosa Uwaifo as a man who brought joy to millions of people including him and died empty by thus not hiding his knowledge on creativity.

Reno Omokri in a statement few hours ago, described Victor Uwaifo as a person that was not only musically inclined, rather an intellectual who added much thoughtful innovations to his crafts as a musician and sculptor.

Reno Omokri added that Victor Uwaifo made internationally acclaimed improvements to guitar as a musical instrument which he said brought more attention to Ngeria.

Sir Victor Uwaifo died empty, having fulfilled his purpose and calling. He brought joy to millions of people, including myself. He was not just musically inclined, he was an intellectual, who added much thoughtful innovations to his crafts, as a musician and sculptor. He made internationally acclaimed improvements to the guitar as a musical instrument and brought much positive attention to Nigeria.

He was consistently brilliant, and his 70s-80s musical variety TV show helped bring a lighter side to what could sometimes be a harsh existence in Nigeria.

He was not selfish with his knowledge. He taught many people the intricate, time consuming and enduring fine art of sculpting, and earned the title of professor in the process, and was a mentor to many musicians, including Isaac Black and Osayomore Joseph.

May God bless his memory and grant his family fortitude, and may we all learn from his life and achievements before our time comes to go the way of all men. In Christ’s Name.
