
UK PM Bori Johnson Leaves London To War Zone Ukraine
United Kingdom Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has visited Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital to hold meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
It was gathered that Boris Johnson’s visit was a “show of solidarity” with the people of Ukraine who have been resisting Russia military invasion since February 24, 2022.
Andriy Sybiha, Deputy Head of Ukraine’s president office, said:
“Right now a visit of Boris Johnson in Kyiv started from one-on-one meeting with President Zelenskyy,”
Downing Street spokesperson said the PM was making the trip “in a show of solidarity with the Ukrainian people”.
“They will discuss the UK’s long term support to Ukraine and the PM will set out a new package of financial and military aid,” the spokesperson added.
