Ukraine Will Never Give Up Its Sovereignty – Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has issued a statement few minutes ago and affirmed that the country will never give up its sovereignty to Russia.
Zelenskyy in a video broadcast said no matter how the Russia terror maybe, the freedom of Ukraine will be preserved and will still prevail.
It would be recalled that Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban in a video broadcast last week Monday said that Ukraine has lost its sovereignty.
Viktor Orban statement reads in quote: “Ukraine has lost sovereignty. It has no money, no military industry, it receives everything from the US and the West” Adding that, “the conflict in Ukraine will end as soon as the United States wants it, the whole world does not understand why they do not want this, and is waiting for an answer”.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban urged NATO to promote a ceasefire and peace talks in Ukraine rather than continue to ship weapons to Kiev.
“Instead of bringing weapons to Ukraine, we should bring peace,” Orban said in Hungarian language with English translation and captions. “A ceasefire is necessary, and instead of war, peace negotiations should start as soon as possible.”
Orban said NATO is supposed to defend member states, “not to carry out military actions on the territory of other countries,” Orban noted in the video, urging the US-led bloc to stay true to its official defensive mission.
The Prime Minister said that he’s informed by the fact that Hungary borders Ukraine and that a significant ethnic Hungarian community in Transcarpathia is in danger from the hostilities.
Zelenskyy in a latest video broadcast on Sunday said that every year, Ukraine will only get stronger and help other free nation’s to protect their sovereignty and build common security.
Zelenskyy message reads in quote below thus:
“Our country will never give up its sovereignty. This is already obvious to everyone in the world. And whatever the Russian terror may be, we know that Ukrainian freedom will still be preserved and will still prevail.
“Every year, Ukraine will only get stronger and help other free nations to protect their sovereignty and build common security. Ukraine can do this. It can because the lines and words of our fundamental state documents are backed by the strength and determination of our people.
“Millions of Ukrainians for whom the freedom of our state is their personal freedom. Honoring Ukrainian freedom, Ukrainian sovereignty, and Ukrainian strength, we always honor our heroes. Different people who fought and are still fighting for Ukraine and to whom we owe our freedom.
“The security of our continent begins here with Ukraine’s sovereignty and strength.
Glory to Ukraine!”
