[Video] Flood Takes Over Federal High Court In Benin

Uncontrolled erosion have taken over Federal High Court of Justice in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

A video recorded and posted by concerned Nigerians indicated that the uncontrolled erosion submerged Court rooms and offices in the Federal High Court.

Nigerians who were interpreting the level of damage caused by the erosion have the flood water level deep to the knees of their body.

Earlier this year, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki while swearing in new judges indicated plans to relocate both the Federal High Court and the Benin Division of the Federal Appeal Court from Ikpoba Hill to Aiguobasimwin street in the Government Reservation Area due perennial flooding submerging the two federal buildings.

Judges, lawyers and other persons do wade through flood to access the court for years now.
