A young man who identified himself as Blessing Boy has continued to express disappointment and displeasure over the ban of commercial sex workers also known as Ashawo in Edo State by Governor Godwin Obaseki.

Blessing Boy who also identified himself on his Facebook wall as an entertainer, said, Ashawo helps men alot in killing depression.

Blessing Boy who cried bitterly in two seperate self recorded videos he posted on his social media platforms, said, instead of government to focus on addressing Boko Haram terrorists and other criminal elements in the country, the government is busy banning ashawo that is helping people to survive current economic challenges in Nigeria.

Blessing Boy asked government officials and other men criticizing him to swear if they have not slept with ashawo or commercial sex worker in their life.

Blessing Boy asked Governor Godwin Obaseki that, now that, he banned ashawo, what does he wants girls who are surviving and sustaining their families with the ashawo business; to do.

“No one is proud to be called an Ashawo but our Government failed us.

“Most of this girls u call prostitute are graduate without jobs.

“Even when dey find one, the job providers will blackmail them, asking for sex before given them jobs.

“So many Nigerian ladies, our sisters are victims to this but dey won’t speak out because of shame.

“I stand with Ashawo.

“As u stop them, please give them Job. Thank u”, Blessing Boy said.
