Professor Wole Soyinka has accused President Muhammadu Buhari government of unbalanced, unequal and irregular approach to security enforcement in Nigeria.

Wole Soyinka in an interview with B.B.C yesterday said Miyetti Allah officially known as Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association Of Nigeria, MACBAN long should been declared as a terrorist group by President Muhammadu Buhari, adding the Leaders of the group should have been arrested before pronouncing Indigenous People of Biafra a terrorist organization.

Wole Soyinka said with evidence Miyetti Allah leaders threatened a sitting governor to make his state ungovernornable for which there have been alot of killings and other form of attrocities traceable to Miyetti Allah in the state.

Wole Soyinka said he’s not aware if D.S.S or other security agencies have invited any member or leader of the Miyetti Allah for a question.

But, Wole Soyinka asked what offence did Sunday Igboho commit that warrant such attack on his residence by the D.S.S and other security operatives.

Adding that the threat and thereafter, the killings traceable Miyetti Allah is more than sufficient enough for the Federal Government to declare the group a terrorist organization and the leadership arrested.

Wole Soyinka recalled that the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom and himself have always called on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare Miyetti Allah as a terrorist group owing to the attrocities committed in Benue state and the threat from the cattle breeders leadership.

Wole Soyinka said Nnamdi Kanu hate speech while abroad can only be interpreted by law, adding there is a collective distrust and disenchantment in the vast state of many people against the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Wole Soyinka added that Nnamdi Kanu in his opinion was kidnapped not arrested by Buhari government.

Wole Soyinka said the manner in which Nnamdi Kanu was forcefully taken and brought to Nigeria is wrong internationally and morally.

He requested the Federal Government to appologize to Sunday Igboho and stop chasing after him.
