“This is fake news and quite misleading,” the statement read.
DSS of recent came after the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele whom they took to court for alleged terrorism financing.
The DSS action against the CBN Governor is coming barely few days after the CBN Governor announced withdrawal limit inline the apex bank monetary policies of introducing new naira notes of 200, 500 and 1000 denominations.
DSS had approached an Abuja High court, seeking warrant to arrest the CBN governor over alleged terrorism financing and economic crimes of national security.
