We Have Changed The Face Of Politics In Nigeria – Obaseki
Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has said the face of politics in Nigeria have been changed following the leadership provided in the Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Governor Godwin Obaseki stated this few hours ago in a message issued after meeting with some senior members of the PDP in the state.
According to Governor Godwin Obaseki, Edo PDP exist with no division, adding, he has no plan to defect from the party.
“There is no division in Edo PDP. As the state leader of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party, I have no plans whatsoever to defect. Anyone not ready to accept my leadership can leave.
“I commend our party members and leaders for attending in good numbers our expanded caucus meeting, held over the weekend”, he said.
Governor Godwin Obaseki added that the state have recorded over 539,000 online e-registration members, describing the figure as intimidating as the state has shown itself as the bastion of the PDP in Nigeria.
“We have changed the face of politics in the country.
“With an intimidating figure of over 539,000 members already registered in our ongoing e-registration exercise, we have broken records as our state remains the bastion of the PDP in Nigeria:
“Our focus now is on how to engage our members. Politics is not about fighting but dialogue and discussion. I urge us to collaborate and unite to move the party and state forward”, Governor Godwin Obaseki said.
