Anambra Election: Children In School Uniform Storm Charles Soludo’s House

All Progressive Grand Alliance and the leading winner of the Anambra Governorship election held yesterday, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has confirmed that school children in their school uniform trooped and gathered at his house this evening as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC announces the election results from various local government areas in the state.

Charles Soludo has been declared winner in 17 out of the 19 local government area which election results have so far been declared.

Results for two local government areas, Orumba North and Ihiala could not be declared due to conflict in the result and non conduct of the election in the areas respectively.

Soludo said the kids came to celebrate with him in the yet to be declared victory.

“My wife and I had a special moment this evening with some children of our local community.

“While I was catching up on the live telecast of the election result collation, these precious ones besieged my house in celebration of our “yet to be declared victory”.

“This is me trying to explain to them that we must wait for the official pronouncement by INEC before we celebrate. They had obviously been told otherwise by their Parents; we eventually came to some mutual agreement and they dispersed”, he said.

OsazuwaAkonedo reports that since the commencement of the Monday sit-at-home in the southeastern States, schools now open for academic activities on Saturdays and Sundays to cover up the lapses.
