Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has described the Peoples Democratic Party as the only political party in Nigeria.

Governor Obaseki described other registered political organizations as mere special purpose vehicles for elections.

Governor Obaseki stated this yesterday in Anambra state during the flag off ceremony of the Peoples Democratic Party E-registration exercise ahead of the November 6, 2021 Anambra Governorship election.

Governor Obaseki said PDP strength rests on wards and he has the confidence that PDP will emerge victorious in the forthcoming governorship election, adding that the E-registration will be driven by the PDP leadership in the 326 wards in Anambra state.

The Edo State Governor thereafter urged all Nigerians to join PDP so as to stop the hardship in the country; he specifically mentioned like high cost of food, the killings and havoc from herdsmen, bandits and robbers.

My Oyo and Abia state counterparts, Engineer Seyi Makinde and Doctor Okezie Ikpeazu, respectively, and I, flagged off the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) E-registration and Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in Anambra State, ahead of the November 6, 2021 date for the state’s gubernatorial poll.

Anambra State is the first state that we are launching the e-registration and CVR exercise.

As the chairman of our party’s e-registration committee, I expressed confidence that the PDP will emerge victorious in the forthcoming Anambra governorship election.

As far as I am concerned and have seen, PDP is the only party in Nigeria: other parties are only Special Purpose Vehicles for elections.

Our party’s strength rests on the ward. It is the base of the party and the e-registration launch will be driven by the leadership of the 326 wards in Anambra State.

With the exercise, we can register you in our portal as PDP members and also register you with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), if you are not registered already as a voter. The process is very simple.

We must all join the PDP to stop the hardship in the country; like high cost of food, the killings and havoc from herdsmen, bandits and robbers. Our e-registration is the right initiative for the party as the exercise will further showcase our greatness.
