Buhari Cancels Planned Medical Trip To London

In what looked so unsual, President Muhammadu Buhari has cancelled his planned two weeks medical trip to London.
The Presidency has announced that the President would leave Nigeria for London yesterday Friday for what the Presidency described as medical follow up.
The Presidency yesterday updated the public that President Muhammadu Buhari has cancelled the planned Friday medical trip and the new date for the medical check up would be communicated in due course.
This may be seen as the first time the President cancelled a scheduled medical trip since he came into power in 2015.
Nigerians have always complained of President Muhammadu Buhari frequent medical trip to London since 2015.

President Muhammadu Buhari is known for the campaign for the use of made in Nigeria goods or products.
He has made several policies making Nigerians to forcefully use home made product in the agricultural and other sectors.
But his frequent used of foreign doctors questioned his integrity and sense of patriotism to better Nigeria course he preaches.
Many Nigerians massively condenmed the intended Friday Medical trip, insisting he should build a world class hospital in Nigeria where the foreign doctors maybe invited to administer treatment to him and other Nigerians.

The medical follow-up visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to United Kingdom earlier scheduled for today, Friday, June 25, 2021, has been postponed.
said Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.
A new date will be announced in due course.
