Former Presidential spokesperson to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri has advised the general public that education does not cure poverty.

Reno Omokri in a message yesterday said investing is the only way out of poverty.

He enjoined those seeking for higher degrees like PhD to note that most world ranking companies today were established by people without degrees.

“You will know the value of investing when you use your PhD to apply for a job in a form owned by a man who never went beyond secondary/High School.

“Many of the companies that employ PhDs were founded by people without degrees.

“Take a company like Apple. Thousands of PhDs (no exaggeration, Google it). Yet, Apple was founded by two people without any degrees.

“As I have said before, education cures illiteracy. It does not cure poverty. The best cure for poverty is investing!”, Reno Omokri said.

Reno Omokri further gave reasons why people are poor or reamin poor as follow:

* Marry even when you don’t have a job or business‬
* Have kids anyhow because they are God’s gift and God will provide‬
* Start going to church, not for love of God, but in search of ‘miracle’ money
* Pray for money and mistake laziness for faith
* Give your many children limited education
* Wait for them to grow and repeat the poverty cycle by pressuring them to marry when they have no job or business.
