Goodluck Jonathan Teaching, Expanding Leadership Across Boundaries – Buhari
Ahead of the 64 birthday celebration of the former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, President Muhammadu Buhari has admitted and described the former president as a man who is currently expanding and teaching many people in the country leadership.
President Muhammadu Buhari made the remark yesterday in a press release signed by his spokesperson, Femi Adesina.
President Muhammadu Buhari and his political party, the All Progressive Congress, APC had once condemned and ridiculed Goodluck Jonathan prior and soon after the Presidential election in 2015 as ineffective and very weak leader.
OsazuwaAkonedo reports that since Goodluck Ebele Jonathan left office in 2015, Nigerians are currently experiencing the worst form of leadership under President Muhammadu Buhari.
Nigeria youths are now in war with themselves nowadays like never before. Both Nigeria youths in the military and the civilians are killing themselves everyday in the country.
According to President Muhammadu Buhari, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan continues to expand the boundaries of leadership, teaching many in the country the power of focus, consistency and diligence, having served as Deputy Governor, Governor, Vice President, President, African Union Envoy and now, Chairman of the International Summit Council for Peace Africa, ISCP-Africa.
President Muhammadu Buhari statement reads thus:
PRESIDENT BUHARI HAILS Doctor GOODLUCK JONATHAN AT 64
On behalf of the government and Nigerians, President Muhammadu Buhari greets former President, Doctor Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, on his 64th birthday anniversary, November 20, 2021, congratulating him for serving the country, and working for the peace and advancement of democracy on the African continent.
The President affirms that Doctor Jonathan continues to expand the boundaries of leadership, teaching many in the country the power of focus, consistency and diligence, having served as Deputy Governor, Governor, Vice President, President, African Union Envoy and now, Chairman of the International Summit Council for Peace Africa (ISCP-Africa).

ISCP-Africa is an association of incumbent and former heads of state and their deputies, established in 2019 by the Universal Peace Federation, an organization in general consultative status with the United Nations (UN).
President Buhari believes the former President’s profile should remind those in position and all aspiring leaders that serving the country and humanity requires sacrifice, and ultimately placing the interest of others above personal gains.
As Doctor Jonathan turns 64, the President sends warm greetings to him and his family, praying that the Almighty God will continue to sustain them in good health and all round well being.
Signed: Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, November 17, 2021.
