Senator Shehu Sani has asked the northern youths under the umbrella body of Northern Consensus Movement to redirect to their leaders the 100 million naira bounty placed on the head of the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The Northern Youths announced during the week that they have placed 100 million bounty on the head of the Biafra agitation leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu over the killings of northerners and destruction of properties belonging to the Northerners in the Southeastern Nigeria.

The group in a video said anyone who can present Nnamdi Kanu to them alive or injured would be rewarded with the 100 million naira bounty.

Former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani reacted switfly, insisted that there are people being killed and kidnapped by bandits and other terrorists in the North; adding that price tag should be placed on the heads of Northern leaders and not Nnamdi Kanu who is far abroad.
