Unknown Gunmen Burn Voters Alive In Enugu
Local Government area elections today took a bloody twist as Biafra secessionist armed group known as unknown gunmen invaded some polling units killing numbers of voters including burning some alive.
It was gathered that three persons were matcheted and shot dead at Igwekamma election centre in Amagu Overage area of Enugu state.
A video posted by resident in the area also show many voters ran with severe wounds while some were burn alive inside vehicles.
In another undisclosed location, a young man was seen bleeding from the mouth with matchet cuts on his face.
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has been warning the Federal Government of Nigeria against conducting election in the Southeastern states regarded as the yet to be declared Biafra Republic.
