United States of America Intelligence and Bundesnachrichtendienst, BND, Germany’s foreign intelligence service are making efforts to trace the Russia military units that killed several civilians in a reckless manner in the town of Bucha in Ukraine.
After the withdrawal of the Russian military from the Bucha town over the weekend, a mass grave was discovered as well as the bodies of dozen scores of dead civilians left lying on the streets.
It was gathered that the hands of some of the victims had been tied, while other bodies showed signs of torture.
Numerous women and children among the victims.
According to a US official as reported by CNN, identifying those involved is an extremely high priority for the US intelligence community.
It is said that more than one military unit or group of Russian troops are responsible for the massacres, but it is uncertain whether the U.S. would announce its findings publicly.
Germany’s foreign intelligence service reportedly intercepted Russian military radio traffic in which the murder of Ukrainian civilians in Bucha was discussed.
DER SPIEGEL media had reported that the BND intercepted Russian military radio traffic in which the murder of civilians by Russian military forces in the town of Bucha near the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv was discussed.
“Some of the intercepted radio traffic can apparently be directly linked to dead bodies that have been photographed in Bucha.
“Some of the intercepted traffic apparently matches the locations of bodies found along the main road through town.
“In one of them, a soldier apparently told another that they’d just shot a person on a bicycle. That corresponds to a photo of a dead body lying next to a bicycle”, Media report read.
