After spending almost half of his second tenure to know who to pick and assemble his cabinet team, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki newly shortlisted Commissioner nominee, Afie Braimoh has said she will try and learn bini language first so that she will be able to communicate with the people.

The commissioner nominee, Afie Braimoh is among the seven newly nominated persons, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki forwarded to the Edo State House of Assembly for screening.

Governor Godwin Obaseki begins his second tenure in office on November 12, 2020 and ever since then, almost half to the expiration of his tenure, he has been battling to set up and completely assemble his cabinet for better performance in the state.

Afie Braimoh in a user generated content video that have now gone viral appears to have newly returned from abroad for the purpose of the commissioner job.

She was stylishly moving round in the video showcasing fashionable clothes on her body and spoke in a low tune voice that made the closet relation believed to be the recorder of the video in an excitement jokingly asked how would she be able to communicate with the Benin people since she’s full of speaking English more in a manner difficult to be heard.

The commissioner nominee, Afie Braimoh said she will try and learn bini language first so that she will be able to communicate with the people.

She emphatically said she’s sure she will learn and be able to communicate with the people.

The development has attracted many critics in Edo State and some have described Afie Braimoh as a fake ‘Ajebutter’, a mockery statement used by many people in Nigeria to condemn people who tries to behave as if they are from wealthy home when in reality the parents may be from poor background.

It was gathered that Afie Braimoh spent most of her young age in Nigeria attending primary and secondary education in Lagos and Benue states respectively before traveling to United Kingdom for higher education.
