Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has revealed that his administration has empowered over 2,700 youths in the state by giving them Infinix Smart Phones as a way of transforming the fortunes of the Youths.
Governor Hope Uzodimma stated this yesterday at the Special Valentine Concert and Youth Tech Empowerment programme held in Owerri, the state capital with Cubana Chief Priest in attendance.
“In addition to the ongoing policies and programs we are embarking on to transform the fortunes of our youth, we empowered 2,700 of them with Infinix Smart Phones. This is to further support, encourage and boost their tech-based endeavors”, Hope Uzodimma said.
The Governor said he feels happy to see the youths enjoy themselves yesterday which reminded of the fun energy the state has been known for.
“It was a pleasant experience to watch the young people of Imo State connecting at the special Valentine’s Concert/Youth Tech Empowerment event held yesterday, in Owerri. Seeing them enjoy the unique atmosphere reminded us, the older generation, of the ‘fun energy’ Imo State, has been reputed for.

“I congratulate Emekwe Blessing Ogechi from Ikeduru Local Government Area and Okeke Joshua from Orsu Local Government Area for winning the two cars and encourage them to put the cars to good use.
