President Vladimir Putin of Russia has said the Russian people will accomplish all their plans in Ukraine.
Putin stated this on Friday while speaking before a very large crowd of people at Luzhniki stadium in Moscow, the Russia state capital during the eight years anniversary rally to mark the claiming of Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine.
According to Putin, he has not seen unity from its troops like they were right now for a long time.
Putin said the goal of Russia special military operations in Ukraine is to liberate people from genocide.
“We know what we need to do, how to do it and at what cost. And we will absolutely accomplish all of our plans,” Putin said.
Meanwhile, the coverage of his speech on state television was unexpectedly interrupted by what the Kremlin said was a technical problem with a server.
While President Vladimir Putin was talking, state television briefly cut away from his speech mid-sentence and showed earlier pre-recorded footage of patriotic songs, but he later appeared back on state television.
