Police Investigates Osinachi Nwachukwu’s Death, Arrests Husband

Nigeria Police Force, Federal Capital Territory, FCT Command has begin investigation to unravel the real cause of death of the Nigeria gospel music icon, Osinachi Nwachukwu who became lifeless on Friday in an undisclosed hospital.

The Police also arrested the husband of the “Ekwueme” worship song singer, Peter Nwachukwu on Sunday in Abuja.

Peter Nwachukwu was arrested by men of the Lugbe police division after the brother of the late singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu who hails from Isuochi in the Umunneochi local government area of Abia state reported a case of suspected homicide to the police.

The spokesperson of the FCT police command, Joseph Adeh reportedly confirmed the arrest to news men and said the suspect is now in police custody.

Adding, suspect was arrested on grounds of suspected culpable homicide and that investigation into the matter is ongoing.
